HOSTEL FACILITY
The college has in campus hostel facility for out station Girl students. As on today around 180 students can stay on campus with all facility including, Mess, Washing machines, TV room, Drinking water supply (Aquaguard filter), water coolers, Telephone booth, Generator backup (day and night), hot water facility (solar water heating system), Wifi facility, Gym facility, etc. The whole campus is under surveillance of CCTV cameras and security guards round the clock.
The capacity of the hostel would be increased to maximum 700 students within three years. With an open landscape and river side view with lots of vegetation, Hostel stay would be a pleasant and quiet environment best suitable for good academic pursuance.
FACILITY - INFRASTRUCTURE
The library of college houses around 3000 latest books from USA, UK, India on nursing, allied sciences and general topics. Library also has different National and International Journals. The library is planned to grow every year by addition of latest books. Internet facility is available to refer online journals and books.The college has well equipped nursing arts laboratory with mannequins, models and audio – visual aids. The college also has standardized nutrition, anatomy, microbiology, community health nursing and MCH lab.
MESS FACILITY
We are offering mess facility to our students and staff. The mess offers all meal i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner to hostel students. We are giving utmost importance to cleanliness and hygiene at mess. The special feature of our mess is that the weekly menu is managed by our students. Special food is provided for students who are fasting. There is regular check and monitoring on mess facility by the institute.
TRANSPORT FACILITIES
The institute is well connected with railway station, bus stops and air port of Nagpur city. It is accessible from all the corner of the city through public transport and transportation offered by the institute. The institute provides bus facility from all the corners of Nagpur city. The students and staff can avail the bus facility which offered through six different routes of the city. The institute also provides special transportation facilities during exams and extra lectures and also special bus facility for hostel students.
SPORTS
The institute gives most importance to sports activities and hence developed many facilities to train its students in various sports. The institute has special playgrounds for Kabaddi, Badminton, Cricket and Valley ball. The institute also provides facility for indoor games like Table tennis, Chess and carom board. Our students regularly participate in intercollegiate sports activities organized by University and sport event organized by Mksss’s Sitabai Naagundkar College Of Nursing For Women,Nagpur.
The vision of the sports committee is to organize sports competitions, take practices, so that they can learn to keep themselves physically fit.
The Committee aims at enhancing the interest of the participants in the field of sports. To achieve the above we plan to organize various competitions in the following sports: Kabaddi, Kho-kho, Running, Relay, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Table tennis, Chess, Badminton.
- An ability to achieve a given performance repeatedly is referred to as efficiency. The aim of sport training is to achieve maximum individual or team efficiency in a selected sports discipline limited by rules.
- To promote the interest of sport.
- To promote physical, mental, social, emotional, health and wellness.
- Encourage students to promote the active participation in physical activities according to the interest and abilities.
- To develop skill and fitness of the students.
- To participate at various district , state , national level
- To create zeal amongst students and faculty members towards sports.
- To organize training, coaching and education in sports for everybody so that they can learn to keep themselves physically fit.
- To enhance the interest of participants in the field of sports.
- To promote every individual’s health, physically well-being as well as the acquisition physical skills among the students.
- The committee aspires to inculcate qualities such as Sportsmanship, Team spirit and Bonding.
- It is designed to serve the interest of the students’ community in competitive sports and other recreational activities i.e. both Indoor and outdoor.
- The Sports Committee shall be responsible for all Inter Collegiate cultural events in the college.
- To Plan and Schedule sports events for the academic year.
- To obtain formal permission from the college authorities to arrange program.
- To decide the date, time of the program.
- To inform members of staff and students about the events.
- To arrange the venue (Audio/Video system, Dias etc.)
- To arrange mementos for guests and gifts/certificates for the participants.
- The committee shall display on the notice board about any function and competition.
- Organizing program on peace and harmony towards cultural, regional linguistic, communal socioeconomic and other diversities.

- The teacher head conducts various committee meetings and maintains close communication with all the members of the club.
- The teacher head is well knowledgeable about the code of conduct of the sports club and transmits this information to other members of the sports committee.
- The teacher heads keeps track of all the relevant records and documents of the committee and assigns the appropriate tasks to other committee
- A treasurer handles all the financial matters associated with the sports committee.
- She maintains all the financial records and reports all the financial matters to the authorities.
- The manager attends the council meetings to discuss the ongoing issues within the sports club and designs appropriate strategy to resolve those issues.

GYM FACILITY
Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing Provides the Gym Facility for all Students. “A Healthy mind resides in a Healthy Body “, complying with the saying, a professionally managed environment is created for the students. Both Physical and Mental Health play an important role for the well-being of an Individual. In tune with the objective of all-round development of the students, the campus is equipped with an in-house gymnasium.
Green Initiative
The institute understands its role towards conservation and protection of environment and hence adopted a few measures that will lead to sustainable development. The institute has installed solar heater plant at hostel. This plant proved to be extremely helpful to save electricity. The institute also installed Sewage Treatment Plant in its campus. The STP is useful for Recycling and Reusing of waste water.
