” Mental health in an unequal world” this was the theme of Mental Health week of 2021 . And like every year to spread awareness Students of Basic Bsc nursing 3rd year carried out some creative activities like skit and quiz competition in Regional Mental Hospital . The skit was performed on 5th of October under the guidance Mrs. Nancy Domingo mam . The quiz competition had been organised by Dr. Abhishek Marmade sir Regional Mental Hospital team.

Students who had participated were :- Ms. Gauri Dafare Ms. Varsha Patle Ms. Nainita Tembhurne and secured the 2nd position in quiz competition. A special thanks to Dr. Ashish Kuthe sir for inviting us to RMH for quiz competition and regards to our principal Mrs. Rupa Verma mam and HOD of mental health Mrs. Vandana Thangavel mam for constant support and motivation.

On 26 November 2021 Sitabai Nargundkar College of nursing for women celebrated constitution day starting with lamp lighting, poems and speeches were given by students on constitution day .. the program was concluded with preamble recitation of the constitutional on India. The program was organised by 3rs year student under the guidance of Dr.Rupa Verma (Principal of SNCON)

The campus recruitments of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital Mumbai and National cancer institute Nagpur were held at Sitabai Nadgunkar College of nursing for students of 4th yr basic BSc students, they interviewed and landed up with great jobs in their hands even before getting their results and passing out from college. SNCON congratulates them on thier achivement and wish them all the best for their future.

ON THE 6TH OF FEBRUARY SESSION WAS TAKEN BY MRS.ROOPA RAWAT (THE 1ST RHEMATOLOGY NURSE OF INDIA AND NATIONAL CORDINATOR WHO)..SHE MOTIVATED STUDENTS BY GIVING HER OWN EXAMPLE AND EXPLAINED DIFFRENTS OPPORTUNITIES IN NURSING CAREER.

Nutrition Practical program was conducted at MKSSS Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing for Women Nagpur for Basic B.Sc. Nursing 1st Year students as a part of the curriculum. The aim of this program is to impart the knowledge related to nutritious diet, with its values and importance for patients according to their need and condition.

THE FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST IS CELEBRATED AS BREAST FEEDING WEEK.VARIOUS COMPETITIONS ARE HELD IN SNCON IN THIS OCCASTION TO SPREAD AWARENESS AND ROLEPLAY AND DEMONSTRATIONS IN HOSPITALS ARE ALSO DONE.

AS STUDENTS WARE POSTED IN THE MANEWADA URBAN AREA THEY PERFORMED A MOB ACTIVITY TO SPREAD AWARENESS ABOUR DAILY HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS AMOUNGT THE YOUR SCHOOL GOING CHILDRENS.BY DOING ROLE PLAYS AND SKIT.

ON 4TH JANUARY BLOOD DONATION CAMP WAS ORAGANIZED IN OUR CAMPUS.STUDENTS AND TEACHERS ACTIVLY PARTICIPATED AS THIS WAS A SERVICE TO OUR SOCIETY

A NURS’S LIFE BIGINS WITH TAKING AN OATH TO FOLLOW THE RESPOSNIBILITIES OF NURSES. IN THIS ACTIVITIES AND WORKSHOPS THE LAMP IS LIGHTEND BY THE TEACHERS AND OATH IS TAKEN BY THE NEW BATCH. IN THE GRADUATION CEREMONY STUDENTS ARE GIVEN DIFFERENT AWARD ON THE BASIS OF THEIR OVERALL PERFORMANCE IN THE INSTITUTE.

ON 23 NOV A GUEST LECTURE WAS ARRNAGED FOR THE STUDENTS ON THE TOPIC OF PREVENTION OF GUEST LECTURE TO IMPROVE THE KNOWLEGDE ABOUT THE TOPIC.THE SPOKE PERSON WAS DR.CHANDANI HOOTWANI..AND A SESSION OG DEFIBRILATION BY DR.SAURABH SHAHARE..

ON 29TH FEBRUARY STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN CONTEST (ACTIVITIES AND WORKSHOPS) HELD AT SOUTH CENTRAL ZONE CULTURAL CENTRE CONDUCTED BY ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS, NAGPUR .STUDENTS PERFORMS A STREET PLAY ON “POLLUTION FREE ANVIORNMENT GIVES A HEALTHY BREATH”.

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH WEEK IS CELEBRATED IN FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER. STUDENTS PERFORM ROLE PLAYES IN THE MENTAL HOSPITAL AND SPREAD AWARENESS.

STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE QUIZ ARRANGED IN THE REGIONAL MENTAL HOSPITAL AND GRABBED THE FIRST PRIZE.

ON THE 1ST OCTOBER A ACTIVITIES AND WORKSHOPS WAS HELD ON BLS WHERE STUDENTS WERE TAUGHT HOW TO HANDLE EMERGENCY SITUATIONS AND TO THE NESSESARY.AND AT THE END THEY GOT THE CERTIFICATES.
