Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing for women envisions to be recognized as a centre for excellence in nursing education and healthcare, which would be renowned for innovations in pedagogy, interdisciplinary research and community services.

Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing for women is committed to provide healthcare and wellbeing through excellence in nursing education, research, practice and service while fostering diversity and inclusion.
OBJECTIVES:

To provide highest quality nursing education as a foundation for lifelong learning and professional careers in nursing.

To prepare compassionate, competent professional nurses to be leaders of tomorrow.

To demonstrate leadership in effectiveness of community services and applied research to fulfill needs of development.

To foster enhancement, cooperation and partnership in local, national and international institutions.

To work towards raising the institutional administrative, technologies and informational performance.
FUNCTIONS:

Generating and promoting awareness on Quality sustenance.

To device procedures and mechanisms to maintain quality in all the operational aspects of the system-Teaching-learning-Evaluation process.

Measuring the outcome of academic performance of the institution.

Ensuring continuous improvement in all the operational aspects of the University.

To keep the institution abreast of quality sustenance activities through Workshops / Seminars / Demonstrations / Case Studies / Panel Discussions.

Developing realistic and attainable quality benchmarks for each of the academic and administrative activity through plan of action, internal assessment, workshops etc.
AIMS OF IQAC :

To develop a system of conscious and consistent.

action to improve the academic and administrative performance of institution.

To promote quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and Institutionalization of best practices.
GOALS:

To promote research and scientific publications by the faculty.

To motivate faculty for continuing education by attending conference, workshops, short term courses.

To depute faculty to attend short term courses appropriate to their professional knowledge, skill development.

To promote and assist in acquiring higher education of faculty.
POLICIES :

The composition of IQAC depends on the size and complexity of the institution.

The membership of members will be for a period of two years.
-
IQAC should meet at least once in every quarter.
-
IQAC members should shoulder the responsibilities and devote time for working out the procedural details.
